Greve in Chianti è un comune italiano di 13 338 abitanti della città metropolitana di Firenze in Toscana, situato sulla via Chiantigiana, che unisce Firenze con Siena passando attraverso il suggestivo panorama del Chianti.
Il territorio del comune di Greve in Chianti ha un'estensione di 169,38 chilometri quadrati e si estende tra i Monti del Chianti e i colli fiorentini. Presenta caratteri della media collina e nella sua parte più meridionale quelli tipici di un ambiente di montagna. Il dislivello altimetrico va da un minimo di 130 m s.l.m. nell'abitato del Ferrone fino ad un massimo di 892 m s.l.m. presso la vetta del Monte San Michele; il capoluogo è posto a 236 m.
