La diocesi di Lodi è una sede della Chiesa cattolica in Italia suffraganea dell'arcidiocesi di Milano appartenente alla regione ecclesiastica Lombardia. Nel 2016 contava 277.825 battezzati su 291.737 abitanti. È retta dal vescovo Maurizio Malvestiti.
Le parrocchie di Colturano e Balbiano seguono il rito ambrosiano e non quello romano come il resto della diocesi. Nel 1981 la parrocchia di Riozzo, frazione di Cerro al Lambro, passata nel 1978 dall'arcidiocesi di Milano alla diocesi di Lodi, ha abbandonato il rito ambrosiano ed è passata al rito romano.
