La Pianura Padana, detta anche Padano-veneta, Pianura Padano-veneto-romagnola o Val Padana , è una pianura alluvionale, una regione geografica, unitaria dal punto di vista morfologico e idrografico, situata in Europa meridionale che si estende lungo l'Italia settentrionale, compresa principalmente entro il bacino idrografico del fiume Po delimitato dalle Alpi e Prealpi italiane a nord e ovest, dall'Appennino settentrionale a sud e dall'Alto Adriatico a est, comprendendo parti delle regioni Piemonte, Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto e Friuli-Venezia Giulia comprese orientativamente nell'isoipsa dei cento metri di quota.
