Questo castello fu costruito nel XIII secolo sul Monte Barbaro da un nobile cristiano che occupò il villaggio musulmano. C'erano ancora alcune case all'interno delle mura.
Sebbene di esso non resti nulla, sono state rinvenute tracce di una cucina, di servizi igienici, di una cantina e di un vano scale che conduceva ad un piano.
