La Famiglia dell'Uomo è una mostra fotografica, assemblata nel 1955 da Edward Steichen per il Museum of Modern Art di New York, che è nota come "La più grande mostra fotografica di sempre". Negli anni '50 e '60 del XX secolo attirò più di nove milioni di visitatori. Dal 1964, la mostra si trova a Clervaux.
Nel 1964, alla fine del suo giro del mondo, la collezione del governo americano fu donata al granducato di Lussemburgo. Durante una visita nel 1966, Steichen affermò che "il lavoro più importante della sua vita" avrebbe dovuto trovare il suo posto definitivo nel Château de Clervaux.
