Il complesso faceva parte dell'Atlantikwall. Due bunker del complesso Stützpunkt Lohengrin sono stati aperti al pubblico. La distanza tra i bunker è di circa 200 metri. Le pareti e il tetto sono fatti di cemento con uno spessore di 2 metri. L'altro complesso di bunker a Zoutelande è stato nominato in onore di un'altra opera di Richard Wagner: Stützpunkt Meistersinger.
