Koewacht è un villaggio di confine condiviso che si estende su due paesi e tre comuni. La maggior parte fa parte del comune di Terneuzen, nella provincia olandese di Zeeland. La restante parte è suddivisa tra i comuni belgi di Moerbeke e Stekene. Il villaggio ha 2.515 abitanti, il nome del villaggio si riferisce a 'aspettare le mucche'. La posizione al confine conferisce un carattere molto particolare al villaggio.
