Il paesaggio a sud di Breda è in gran parte nato dal fatto che i nobili nel XVI secolo hanno piantato molti boschi. L'area ospita le foreste più antiche e impressionanti nei dintorni ed è alternata a campi di erica, paludi di torba, pascoli boschivi e piccole pozze d'acqua. La vita borgognona viene ulteriormente enfatizzata dalle numerose proprietà, viali maestosi e ruscelli tortuosi. Ma anche le belle vedute lungo il torrente meandrante Mark, le Foreste di Chaam e la più grande foresta di querce estive dei Paesi Bassi contribuiscono a creare un'incredibile area verde e simile a un parco nella Baronia di Breda.
