Il mulino a vento De Vlijt si trova sulla Harnjesweg a Wageningen. È un mulino a pianta circolare in pietra, coperto di paglia, costruito nel 1879 con un'apertura di 22,30 metri. Il mulino ha tre coppie di macine. Le pale sono pale regolabili con valvole di frenatura, il che consente al mulino di macinare in modo più efficiente anche in caso di vento forte. Il mulino è stato restaurato nel 1978 e nel 1979 è tornato a funzionare come attrezzatura professionale per la macinazione. Nella parte negozio vengono venduti prodotti a base di farina, lievito, teglie da forno, legumi e frutta secca. Il proprietario è il comune di Wageningen. Il mugnaio è Hans Dobbe dal 1976. I regolamenti edilizi del comune di Wageningen stabiliscono che nel raggio di 100 metri non è consentito costruire più in alto del punto più basso di un’ala verticale. Nel 2009 i piani edilizi per il vicino terreno dell'ex malteria sono stati adattati di conseguenza.
