Die Windmühle De Vlijt steht an der Harnjesweg in Wageningen. Es handelt sich um eine runde Steingestellmühle, die mit Schilfrohr gedeckt ist, Baujahr 1879, mit einem Flügelmaß von 22,30 Metern. Die Mühle hat drei Paar Mahlsteine. Die Flügel sind Fockflügel mit Bremsklappen, wodurch die Mühle effizienter und auch bei starkem Wind noch mahlen kann. Die Mühle wurde 1978 restauriert und kam 1979 wieder als professionelles Mahlwerk in Betrieb. Im Verkaufsbereich werden Mehlprodukte, Hefe, Backformen, Hülsenfrüchte und Südfrüchte verkauft. Eigentümer ist die Gemeinde Wageningen. Der Müller ist seit 1976 Hans Dobbe. Die Bauvorschriften der Gemeinde Wageningen besagen, dass innerhalb eines Abstandes von 100 Metern nicht höher gebaut werden darf als der untere Punkt eines vertikal stehenden Flügels. Im Jahr 2009 wurden die Baupläne für das angrenzende Gelände der ehemaligen Mälzerei entsprechend angepasst.
