Azewijn è un villaggio con 810 abitanti nel comune di Montferland, situato nella regione del Gelderland, Liemers, ai piedi del Montferland e del Bergherbos. Azewijn si trova a circa tre chilometri a est di 's-Heerenberg. Il villaggio è composto da due parti, vale a dire il centro abitato stesso e un'ampia area rurale. A est del centro abitato si trovano i Grote- e Kleine Reeven. In quest'ultima area si trova una cava di sabbia dove sono stati segnalati reperti fossili. Qui si trova anche una discarica su cui è stato costruito un parco solare.
