Azewijn ist ein Kirchendorf mit 810 Einwohnern in der Gemeinde Montferland, gelegen in der Gelderländer Region Liemers am Fuße des Montferland und des Bergherbos. Azewijn liegt etwa drei Kilometer östlich von 's-Heerenberg. Das Dorf besteht aus zwei Teilen, nämlich dem Dorfkern selbst und einer ausgedehnten Umgebung. Östlich des Dorfkerns liegen die Große und die Kleine Reeven. In letzterem Gebiet befindet sich ein Sandabbau, in dem fossile Funde gemeldet wurden. Hier befindet sich auch eine Müllkippe, auf der ein Solarpark gebaut wurde.
