Blessum è un piccolo villaggio nel comune di Waadhoeke nella provincia di Friesland, nei Paesi Bassi. Aveva una popolazione di circa 89 abitanti a gennaio 2017. Prima del 2018, il villaggio faceva parte del comune di Menameradiel. Il villaggio è stato menzionato per la prima volta tra il 1250 e il 1275 come Blesingum, e significa "insediamento del popolo di Blesse". Blessum è un villaggio terp dell'alto Medioevo, ed era conosciuto per essere abitato nel IX secolo. Si trovava lungo il precedente Middelzee e aveva un piccolo porto.
