Vredepeel è un piccolo villaggio di colonizzazione nel comune di Venray, nella regione del Limburgo. Vredepeel si trova al confine con il Noord-Brabant, tra Venray e De Rips. Vredepeel ha 230 abitanti e una superficie di 1830 ettari. Il nome del villaggio si riferisce all'area di Vredepeel, che fa riferimento all'intervento del re Federico Guglielmo I di Prussia per stabilire una volta per tutte il confine tra la Repubblica delle Sette Province Unite e il territorio di Gelre allora sotto il dominio prussiano. A tale scopo, nel 1716 fu collocato il Vredepaal nel punto di intersezione dei confini.
