Il vecchio mulino a vento De Ruiter bruciò nel 1910. L'attuale mulino fu costruito qui allora. Era un mulino di seconda mano proveniente dall'Olanda del Nord. Essi servivano ad esempio come mulini da sega e spesso ricevevano altrove una seconda vita con una funzione diversa.
