The old grain mill De Ruiter burned down in 1910. The current mill was built here at that time. It was a second-hand mill from North Holland. At that time, steam engines were coming into use, and many industrial mills from North Holland were no longer in use. They served there, for example, as sawmills, and often received a second life elsewhere with a different function. Every Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, the mill grinds, and various regional products are for sale in the shop. Right in front of the mill, you can pull over briefly along the roadside. If you want to visit the mill longer, you can moor a bit further in the village and walk here. www.korenmolenderuiter.nl
