Si tratta di un campo di erica piuttosto grande e situato ad alta quota con un notevole rilievo e grandi dislivelli. Nei pressi della sabbia di Rozendaal si trova il Signaal Imbosch, il punto più alto della Veluwe. I dislivelli rendono l'area molto attraente per la ricreazione. L'area misura circa 542 ha. Si raccorda a est e nord in modo così stretto con il Parco Nazionale Veluwezoom che dal punto di vista paesaggistico forma un'unità con le Heath di Rheder e Worthrheder, l'area centrale di erica di questo parco nazionale. A ovest si raccorda con il Bosco di Rozendaal.
