Nel giardino del Centro Storico di Laren - De Lindenhoeve - si trova la statua "Il Semina" di Herman Strating. La statua è stata installata nel 2001 e rappresenta Hendrik Smit, l'ultimo contadino e abitante della Lindenhoeve. (Indirizzo: Burgemeester van Nispenstraat 29, la statua è visibile anche al di fuori degli orari di apertura dalla Nieuweweg). Nel Centro Storico si trova lo studio in gesso del monumento commemorativo di Nel Klaassen (più avanti nel percorso).
