Dans le jardin du Centre Historique de Laren - La Lindenhoeve - se trouve la statue "Le Semeur" de Herman Strating. La statue a été installée en 2001 et représente Hendrik Smit, le dernier agriculteur et résident de la Lindenhoeve. (Adresse : Burgemeester van Nispenstraat 29, la statue est également visible en dehors des heures d'ouverture depuis la Nieuweweg). Dans le Centre Historique se trouve l'étude en plâtre du monument aux morts de Nel Klaassen (plus loin sur le parcours).
