La Piccola Schans è una fortificazione della Guerra degli Ottant'anni che si trova a Terheijden.
Intorno al 1590 qui si trovava il campo militare spagnolo Roma, chiamato in onore di un comandante dell'esercito. Erano ospitati 200 soldati. Nel 1637 la fortificazione fu costruita nella forma attuale per proteggere la navigazione sul Mark. Nel 1680 la fortificazione cadde in disuso, per essere poi ripristinata nel 1830 e utilizzata, questa volta come bastione contro i Belgi, a causa della guerra per l'indipendenza belga. Così, la fortificazione assunse la sua forma attuale.
