Il percorso incrocia qui il 'Beneden Linge'. Il fiume Linge è con 108 km il fiume più lungo dei Paesi Bassi ed è originariamente un ramo secondario della Waal che fu sbarrato intorno al 1200 presso Tiel. Da qui, il fiume segue il suo corso naturale, diventando così un bellissimo fiume meandreggiante. Il Linge termina a Gorinchem nel De Merwede.
