A sud del monastero delle suore Francescane Penitenti Recollettine di Roosendaal si trova, parallelo a Nieuwstraat e Markendaalseweg, l'ex cappella del monastero, risalente al 1904-'05 e costruita secondo un progetto dell'architetto di Breda J. Lijdsman. La cappella è realizzata in sobria stile neo-gotico, con come fonte di ispirazione il tardo gotico francese del XIV secolo. Nel corso del tempo, l'edificio ha subito alcune modifiche. Negli anni '60, l'interno è stato semplificato. Ora è il ristorante Liefdegesticht, parte dell'Hotel Nassau.
