Nel 1402 la torre fu concessa in prestito dal prevosto della cattedrale a Gijsbrecht van Lockhorst: Item Ghijsbrecht van Lochorst wood from the domproost a tower at Lunenborch with a piece of land where the tower stands according to the letters contained therein.
