Esattamente in questo luogo sorgeva in passato anche una torre, ma con una funzione completamente diversa, ovvero una torre di avvistamento. Le fondamenta di essa sono ancora chiaramente visibili nella sabbia.
Poiché questo è il punto più alto delle Maasduinen, il Consiglio del Villaggio ha nuovamente scelto questa località in consultazione.
Una volta in cima alla torre si svela un panorama senza pari.
