Questo faro, concesso in prestito a tempo indeterminato dalla Rijkswaterstaat alla Fondazione Faro di Breskens, è l'ultimo della sua specie e rappresenta un oggetto nautico unico che merita di essere conservato per le generazioni future. E dove si può mettere un tale faro se non nei pressi del faro! Il faro è un gradito complemento alla mostra nautica permanente nel faro, dove si presta la dovuta attenzione alle diverse forme di segnalazione sulla Westerschelde.
