Tra gli edifici del castello-fortezza di Santiago da Barra c'è la bellissima Capela de Santiago. In realtà è una piccola cappella con una facciata imbiancata. È semplice, ma ha molto fascino. La croce e il piccolo campanile sono gli unici elementi "decorativi" della cappella, il che dimostra la semplicità del monumento.
