Černivci è una città dell'Ucraina dell'Oblast omonima, nella Bucovina del Nord, nella regione occidentale del Paese.
Chiamata anche la Piccola Vienna per via del passato austro-ungarico, è un centro di 300.000 abitanti, con un ricco mercato agricolo e zootecnico, dedito anche alle industrie del legno, alimentari, del tessile e della chimica. Grande centro culturale e sede di una prestigiosa università, la città è nota anche nel mondo dello sport e nel mondo dell'arte.
