The Elderinkshuis from 1783 is one of the oldest buildings in Enschede. It is located at De Klomp 35 in De Bothoven. It was built to serve as an inn for, among others, those who could not enter the city after the closing of the Espoort in the evening. The building was spared during the third major city fire of Enschede in 1862.
