De gemeente bestaat uit vele verspreide buurtschappen die liggen aan de ingang naar het Kaunertal op een hoogte tussen 1300 en 1600 meter. Door de gemeente loopt ook de weg over de pas Pillerhöhe naar het Pitztal.
