Het fort van Kufstein is het symbool van de stad Kufstein en behoort tot de indrukwekkendste middeleeuwse bouwwerken van Tyrol. Tegenwoordig is het een museum en een evenementlocatie. Het bouwwerk staat onder bescherming van cultureel erfgoed volgens de Haagse Conventie. Het ligt op de Festungsberg, een 90 m hoge rots direct aan de Inn, boven de stad Kufstein, en is te voet of met de panorama-trein Kaiser Maximilian bereikbaar.
