Kasterlee is een plaats en gemeente in de Belgische provincie Antwerpen. De gemeente telt 19.000 inwoners. Ze ligt in de Kempen op een hoogte van 18 meter. Kasterlee behoort tot het gerechtelijk kanton Geel en kieskanton Herentals. Partnergemeente is Plaffeien Naast Kasterlee zelf behoren ook de deelgemeenten Lichtaart en Tielen tot de gemeente Kasterlee. Het gehucht Terlo sluit in het oosten aan op de bebouwing van Kasterlee-dorp, het gehucht Houtum doet dit in het zuiden.
