Het bezoekerscentrum Doornpanne ligt op een steenworp afstand van Koksijde. Het herbergt een permanente tentoonstelling over de abstrahering van water uit de duinen en de rijkdom van de fauna en flora van dit 240 hectare grote natuurreservaat. Elders in West-Vlaanderen zijn er niet zoveel soorten duinen te vinden. Het mooiste panorama komt tevoorschijn vanaf de top van de Hoge Blekker, de hoogste duin aan de kust die culmineert op 33 meter.
