Het bekendste bos van Zonnebeke is het Polygoonbos of Doelbos (68 ha) met meer dan 5 km wandelpaden. Het bestaat in hoofdzaak uit dennensoorten maar er werden ook diverse loofhoutpercelen aangeplant. Twee Commonwealthbegraafplaatsen en enkele bunkerrestanten zijn er de stille getuigen van de Groote Oorlog. In de buurt zijn er tal van eet -en drinkgelegenheden.
