Hoewel de hoeveelheid bossen en parken tegenwoordig al hard verminderd is in vergelijking met vroeger, kan nog steeds gezegd worden dat Brasschaat er rijk aan is. Voorbeelden van natuurgebieden en parken zijn het Park van Brasschaat en het Peerdsbos.
