Booischot is een dorp in de Belgische provincie Antwerpen en een deelgemeente van Heist-op-den-Berg. Booischot was een zelfstandige gemeente tot aan de gemeentelijke herindeling van 1977.De geschiedenis van Booischot gaat vermoedelijk terug tot de Frankische periode, en reeds in 726 werd de plaats vermeld. Tot in de 19e eeuw bleef Booischot echter een gehucht van Heist.
