Gosselies is een deelgemeente van de Waalse stad Charleroi in de Belgische provincie Henegouwen. Gosselies was een zelfstandige gemeente met de titel van stad, tot die bij de gemeentelijke herindeling van 1977 toegevoegd werd aan de gemeente Charleroi.In de plaats was een grote fabriek van Caterpillar. In september 2016 werd bekend dat de vestiging per medio 2017 sluit. De 2200 medewerkers verliezen hun baan, drie jaar na een eerdere herstructurering toen reeds 1400 mensen hun baan verloren. De productie is verplaatst naar Grenoble in Frankrijk en andere fabrieken buiten Europa.
