Het weiland is lager gelegen en zeer nat; dit is goed te zien aan de
planten die er groeien. Zo vind je hier moerasspirea, grote lisdodde en pitrus.
Vroeger lag hier een reeks visvijvers. Deze worden opnieuw aangelegd. De werken starten midden augustus 2012. Het einde is voorzien in mei 2013.
