De trappen van de wijk ‘Vieux Thier’
Tijdens een bezoek aan Esneux mag men de wijk Vieux Thier niet missen: vanuit het centrum leiden 155 treden naar boven! Deze plek dateert uit de 16e eeuw en verbindt Esneux-laag met Le Mont. De gevel van huisnummer 8 is het bewonderen waard: een nis met een maagdenbeeldje met de tekst « obstine peChVr prie la Mère DU saVVeUr », met andere woorden: de datum van 1677 is zichtbaar. Bovenaan gekomen kan er uitgerust worden op de Place Jean d’Ardenne en kan het silhouet van Kasteel Le Fy ontdekt worden!
