De Vliegbasis Bevekom is een militaire luchtmachtbasis in Bevekom. Sinds 1955 is de officiële naam Kwartier Basis Luitenant-Kolonel Vlieger Ch. Roman.Pas tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog wordt er een volwaardige luchtmachtbasis uitgebouwd onder leiding van de Duitse Luftwaffe. Na de terugtrekking van de Duitsers maakt het Amerikaanse 9th Air Force ervan gebruik als distributiebasis voor eerste behoeften, zoals voedsel en kleding.
