De campus vormt samen met de Stadscampus, Campus Middelheim, Campus Groenenborger, Campus Mutsaard, Campus Paardenmarkt de Universiteit Antwerpen.Voor de fusie van de Universiteit Antwerpen op 1 oktober 2003 was er de Universitaire Instelling Antwerpen gevestigd.
