Gelegen in een landschapspark met grote waterpartijen, bomen en heesters, wandelpaden en plantsoenen is het kasteel d'Aertrycke in Torhout best fotogeniek. Het was August de Maere, volksvertegenwoordiger en de geestelijke vader van de haven van Zeebrugge, die het in 1871 liet bouwen. Vandaag herbergt het een culinair hoogstaand restaurant. Verder in het kasteelpark vind je in de voormalige koetshuizen nog een gezellige bistro.
