Reinhart Croon (Leuven, 1971) studeerde Toegepaste Grafiek aan het Sint-Lukasinstituut in Brussel. Hij debuteert in 1994 in De Standaard met losse cartoons en de surrealistische cartoonreeks Shelter Hotel. Voor Het Nieuwsblad bedenkt hij de stopcomic Bruno en Bavo. Daarnaast werkt hij 7 jaar als allround-graficus voor de VUM (Het Nieuwsblad) en 8 maanden voor Woestijnvis (Bonanza).
Eind 2002 vestigt hij zich als voltijds zelfstandig illustrator en striptekenaar. Hij werkt onder meer voor Averbode, Libelle, Goed Gevoel, Grande, Hunter Douglas.
Sinds 2005 stelt Strip Turnhout vzw elk jaar een Turnhoutse stadstekenaar aan die gedurende een jaar lang in zijn werk ruim aandacht besteedt aan Turnhout. Vanaf 2007 realiseert Strip Turnhout op verschillende plaatsen stripmuren in de binnenstad op vraag van het Turnhoutse stadsbestuur. Als zesde stadstekenaar wordt Reinhart in 2010 gevraagd om een stripmuur te realiseren. Inspiratie haalt hij uit zijn strip Hunker Bunker en uit café Ranonkel tegenover de stripmuur. De tekening combineert een grote ranonkel of boterbloem met de personages uit Hunker Bunker.
Andere stripmuren die momenteel in Turnhout zijn terug te vinden, zijn van o.a. Jan Van der Veken (zijgevel De Weerelt) en Ulf K. (Bloemekensgang).
