Een middelbare school voor natuur, wetenschappen, plant, dier en milieu op een uitgestrekt domein van 52 hectare, vlakbij het station van Vilvoorde.
Ongeveer 760 leerlingen volgen er na de algemene opleiding van de eerste graad de studierichtingen biotechnische wetenschappen, milieu, tuinbouw of dierenzorg. Vijf specialisatiejaren verdiepen hun beheersing van bosbouw, groenaanleg, bloemschikken of dierenzorg en leveren bso-leerlingen een diploma secundair onderwijs op.
Door de specifieke richtingen en uitgebreide voorzieningen komen de leerlingen uit heel Vlaanderen. 160 leerlingen kiezen er daarom voor in het internaat te verblijven.
