Het gaat hier om de kapel gelegen aan de Langendries te Zottegem (Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove) naast de 'Hostellerie' en op de hoek van een oude hoogstamboomgaard. De boomgaard én de kapel horen tot Natuurpunt.
De kapel had nood aan restauratie: de fundering liet het enigszins afweten, zodat de kapel aan de voet stilaan uit mekaar schoof. Verder was er werk aan de bedaking, het buitenschrijnwerk en de schilderwerken binnenin. Het was vzw Boembeke die hier het initiatief nam om dit bouwkundige erfgoed te bewaren voor de toekomst.
De kapel op zondag 28 juni 2009, ter gelegenheid van de Boembekefeesten, heringewijd door monseigneur Luc Van Looy.
De Koninklijke Muziekmaatschappij Sint-Cecilia van Sint-Maria-Oudenhove begeleidde de bisschop vanaf het café de Bloemfontein aan de Langendries te Zottegem (Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove) tot aan de kapel te Boembeke. Aansluitend startten de drie burgemeesters (Brakel, Zottegem en Zwalm) de intussen gerestaureerde dieselmotor aan de Boembekemolen.
