Het uitgestrekte Engelse landschapspark rondom het kasteel van Loppem leent zich perfect voor een wandeling. Het pronkstuk is uiteraard het Kasteel van Loppem, een prachtig pareltje van neogotische totaalkunst uit de 19de eeuw. Het enige Belgische kasteel trouwens, waarvan zowel de buiten- als de binnenkant nog steeds in zijn oorspronkelijke staat verkeert! Naast het kasteel ligt een eeuwenoud doolhof te pronken. Een ingewikkeld labyrint van rode en groene haagbeuken waarin jong en oud, groot en klein urenlang het Noorden verliezen. Of hoe kinderpret uit 1873 nog steeds kan bekoren...
