Odiel Defraeye was in 1912 de eerste Belg die erin slaagde de Ronde van Frankrijk te winnen. Bovendien zegevierde hij in het Belgisch kampioenschap (1911) en Milaan-San Remo (1913). Lucien Victor won tijdens de Olympische Spelen van 1952 in Helsinki met het Belgische team het landenklassement, goed voor een gouden medaille. Valère Ollivier heeft o.a. het Belgisch kampioenschap (1949) en Gent-Wevelgem (1948) op zijn palmares.
