Landelijke herberg, volgens lokale bron sinds 1782 al zogenaamd "Moeder Stiene"; cafénaam zou verwijzen naar toenmalige uitbaatster van deze afspanning, Christine De Wulf uit Armentières die vooraf als kwartiermeester diende in het leger van Napoleon. Ingeplant op hoekperceel aan kruispunt, achter rij van vier knotlinden, tegenover Neutenstraat. Laag breedhuis van zes traveeën en één bouwlaaf, in kern wellicht opklimmend tot de tweede helft van de 18de eeuw; aansluitend bij nummer 29, namelijk onder doorlopend kunstleien zadeldak. Verankerde gewitte bakstenen lijstgevel op gecementeerde plint met imitatiebreuksteenvoegen. Getoogde muuropeningen. Voordeur in bruingeschilderde bakstenen omlijsting met oren. Daklijst met baksteenfriezen. Binnenin bewaarde balklaag.
