Het stadspark, dat ongeveer 8 hectare beslaat, ligt in het hartje van Waregem. Het neoclassicistisch kasteel werd in het midden van de 19e eeuw opgetrokken door Felix De Ruyck. In 1897 kwam baron Casier er wonen. Sindsdien werd het kasteel steeds door zijn erfgenamen bewoond tot het domein uiteindelijk in 1977 eigendom werd van stad Waregem. Het park werd volledig heraangelegd. Ook het Koetshuis werd gerenoveerd en vormt een expositieruimte voor kunstenaars.
In het kasteel bevindt zich vandaag een tearoom. Op het terras kan je rustig genieten van een drankje en de natuur om je heen.
In de zomer vormt park Baron Casier het decor voor verschillende concerten. Ieder maandagavond in juli en augustus zijn er de Parkies concerten waarbij telkens één artiest komt optreden. En tijdens de Waregem Koerse Feesten zijn er op zaterdag en maandag (voor Waregem Koerse) optredens van verschillende artiesten. Kortom er is altijd iets te beleven!
