Il parco cittadino, che copre circa 8 ettari, si trova nel cuore di Waregem. Il castello neoclassico fu costruito a metà del XIX secolo da Felix De Ruyck. Nel 1897 il barone Casier vi si trasferì. Da allora, il castello è stato abitato dai suoi eredi fino a quando il dominio divenne proprietà della città di Waregem nel 1977. Il parco è stato completamente ristrutturato. Anche la rimessa delle carrozze è stata ristrutturata e costituisce uno spazio espositivo per artisti.
Oggi, all'interno del castello si trova una sala da tè. Sulla terrazza puoi goderti tranquillamente una bevanda e la natura che ti circonda.
In estate, il parco Baron Casier fa da cornice a vari concerti. Ogni lunedì sera di luglio e agosto si tengono i concerti Parkies, con un artista che si esibisce ogni volta. Durante le celebrazioni di Waregem Koerse, ci sono spettacoli di diversi artisti il sabato e il lunedì (per Waregem Koerse). Insomma, c'è sempre qualcosa da vivere!
