Pachthoeve van het gelijknamige kasteel en gelegen ten oosten ervan. Voorheen versterkte schans op de Meerbeekse Heide. Oudste vermelding opklimmend tot circa 1600. Hoeve verwoest in 1773 en gedeeltelijk afgebroken. Volgens de literatuur in 1859, volgens het jaartal op de gevel in 1868 heropgebouwd; op het kadaster werd het gebouw aan straatzijde ingetekend in 1869, de U-vormig ingeplante bijgebouwen in 1928.
